About

I’m a San Francisco Bay Area-based composer, music producer, and musician.

My most recent original score was for the documentary “Spellers”, winner of Best Documentary Feature Award and Donor’s Choice Award at the 2023 Phoenix Film Festival and received Honorary Best Feature Documentary at the Ridgefield International Film Festival (RIFF). “Spellers” has been viewed over 13 million times online worldwide.

MY MUSIC

My compositions often incorporate elements of electronica, downtempo, chill house, and ambient soundscapes. I produce and perform with synth instruments, pianos, programmed soft synths, acoustic drums and percussion, electronic drums and drum machines, acoustic and electric guitars, and anything else I can find. I produce and play piano, keyboards, and drums in live and studio settings across a range of genres from jazz to rock.

MY BACKSTORY

I grew up in a musical family and studied classical piano, drums, percussion, flute, and oboe, and performed in a pantheon of musical groups in my formative years. Playing across a range of genres and ensembles — from symphonies to jazz jams, from chorales to handbell choirs, from classical to rock — gave me a wide exposure to music theory, instrumentation, genres, and emotions. I went on to study music production at Berklee.
